Nothing Lasts Forever

Time always passes buy quickly when you are having fun. I am not saying that I am having fun here in Perth. I suppose I do miss the vibrancy of a city life where we can go out whenever we want and not worry about whether there ar shops open or not. What I do like about Perth is the weather. Although it had been freezing these couple of days, but the sight of falling leaves is simply so beautiful. And I have not even mention the stars in the sky at night. Even on the cloudiest day, you will still be able to spot them shinning ever so brightly.

It has been a hectic weekend. It's Jane's birthday today and we had a little surprise for her this morning. It's all thanks to her sister, Jun. Her initial plan was to surprise her with water balloons, but the plan was aborted when we reckon it was too cold to get Jane wet on her 18th birthday.

We also went to the city to get all the stuff ready for our trip home. It had been an enjoyable day except for the fact that someone wore a mini dress and was frezzing the whole entire day. In the end, I was the one freezing as my jacket was with the doofus. And I was also $12 poorer as I was duped into watching Kungfu Panda. But in a way, it was good as we were able to escape from the cold and experience watching movie at the Picadilly Theatre. It's the only theatre left in Perth and it's also on the heritage list. Walking into the theatre reminds me of the theatre that we watched 'The Woman in Black' while we were in UK.

I have a whole list of work and tests to do and study respectively for. Unfortunately, I am so distracted by the things around me. We're going to the Willetton market tomorrow morning and knowing us, we'll probably spent about 4 hours there. We have a weird fetish for exploring the markets here. Which means I am so screwed for the 4 tests that I have next week.

Tests
Monday:
Human Biology (Essays - *gulp*)
Maths
Information Systems (Visual Basic Programming)
Tuesday:
ELACS (Compare and Contrast Systems of Government)

Homework
Human Biology: Genetics (which is a whole lot. It's equivalent to 7 essays)
Accounting (Clubs and Societies)
Maths (Exercise 9G)

And I have to clean my room!

I'm Coming Home!

Yup! I am coming home. =D. I am confirmed on the flight back on July 8th, but I am on 3 waiting lists on July 5th. I'm not really excited this time round, perhaps because the peak season of travel has cut back my holidays considerably. And also because Chibi is missing 2 days of school and heading back earlier. I'm so jealous! Haha!

It's been an eventful week especially with the end of the exams. Chibi and I went to have our tickets changed, satisfy my craving for Phi Yen and her craving for ice cream and went to have my license converted. So everyone, I can now drive in Western Australia with my Aussie license. =D. Unfortunately, there isn't car for me, except for my bicycle, which technically, you don't need a license for it. Haiz...

Time to snooze!

Tough Love

It's the midst of the exam week. I'm really stressed up as I kind of know that I didn't do really well for my Human Biology and other papers. I still have another 2 papers to go next week, and it's so frustrating as I have tons of definitions and rules to remember. I guess I'm not the only one feeling the heat. Many things have been happening in this house for the last 2 weeks. I can sense tempers flaring inside each and every individual, but all of us are just keeping it inside us and not talking things through. I'm not sure whether this is a good idea, but I really can't afford to deal with this right now. What I am hoping is that on my 'dream' night, we will be able to break the barriers even though I'm sure some won't join us.

The stress of the exams could also be the reason that I'm having an emotional roller-coaster ride. I did things that I never thought I would ever do. I thought I knew a lot, but I'm not so sure now. I'm not as clearheaded as I would like to be. No matter what, I am just glad that whatever happens, there's always someone there for me.

One a brighter note, I got myself a bicycle! It's kind of old news, but I had been so busy to blog about it. The bike is like my little car here. I keep riding to Karawara for food, groceries, and the bank. It's amazing especially to feel the cold air in your face. =D Unfortunately, blogger doesn't seem to like me and is unwilling to load the pictures up. Argh! I have so many pictures that I wish to upload!
