I seriously feel like quiting all together. For years I’ve told myself never to be a quitter, but this time, I see it as the only way. I haven’t told anyone about this yet for I know what two groups of people will say. If only I could have a talk with Jelena and see how she had overcome that thought or what prompted her to take that path. I really need to know what I should do. Maybe if someone somewhere can give me a sign whether I should quit or not!

It’s 13 hours, 56mins and 23 seconds (as of now) to the release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. I am so excited and I just can’t hide it. I went to my mom’s room this morning, woke her up and told her that it’s only a day away from the release. Of course, she hit me and then went back to sleep.
I’m pretty excited that Jessie and Say Hoe are here in Singapore. It’s not every time that they’re here in Singapore. And I get to see Will and Say Hoe’s new girlfriend. : ) Unfortunately, that meant that since I’m meeting all of them today, I can’t go to RP to have ban mian with Gillian and Lindsay. Apparently, that’s the only place that serves the ‘ma la’ ban mian.
Now that it’s been confirmed, I don’t feel like breaking the news. But then again, who do I break it to? No one seems to care anyway.

Yayness! : ) On Tuesday afternoon, I received a call informing me that I managed to get a pair of tickets to the gala premier of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. Like yay! My schedule went on very smoothly as I had tennis in the club in the evening, so once tennis was over, I could shower, have dinner at the club and then walk over to Lido where the gala premier was being held. Security was pretty tight that night. I guess they didn’t want to spoil it for the launch. We’re not allowed to take our mobile phones in and there were a couple of beefy guards stationed around with metal detectors. I felt like I was going to take a plane more than going to watch a movie.
Wani and I went for the movie even though the seats were pretty sucky. Actually they sucked. Anyway, I thought I was running late so I walked over as fast as I could. Then I remember I had forgotten to put on lip gloss. So there I was walking past The American Club putting on lip gloss as I walked past. I didn’t even know how I managed the feat; watching out that my heels didn’t get stuck in the drain, watching out for cars and putting it on without smudging. The Gurhka policeman stationed there looked very surprised I must say. So am I!
Anyway, I felt that the movie was pretty good. I would give it a 7.5 out of 10. I loved it when the scene where they were flying over London. The first time it was on broomsticks and the second was when they were on their way to the Department of Mysteries. Unfortunately, they didn’t feature Quidditch or Dolby. I’m seriously going to watch it again, with better seats this time round. (They reserved the best seats in the house for the stars. Like, what’s new?) Yay! Can’t wait!

Itchy! Itchy!
Darn red spots. I have been having these insect bites and they are leaving these ugly, itchy red spots on my hands. I don’t think they’re mosquito bites, but I just don’t know what it is. The worst thing is that they refuse to go off even though I’ve been trying every single lotion/cream/palm oil on me. I’m a little worried about these spots especially with the dengue going around. Fortunately, I haven’t had a fever yet. So I guess I should be ok. Now that Wimbledon is over, I finally can adjust back to my normal sleeping schedule, which means I think I’ll be less cranky too as I will no longer be sleep deprived.
Blow! Today is already the 9th of July. I’m a month away from my driving test and I still suck at parking. Surprisingly, I’m better at parallel than perpendicular parking. I got the car into the lot on my first try of the parallel lot, but not for the perpendicular. Hopefully I’ll be able to pass next month as I would really like to drive to the wedding in Port Dickson in September. That will give me a chance to go faster than 70km/h. That driving instructor keeps saying that I’m going too fast. Well at least I'm not speeding! Bother! I seriously think he’s going to take leave on all the days that I’m having driving lesson from now on.
Wani, Lindsay and I met up at the airport the other day when we sent Pris off. The next time I’m going to the airport, I’m seriously going to drive. Singapore is a small place, but I dread taking a 75 minutes bus ride all the way there, and I got to take it back too! That brings my total travelling time to 150 minutes. On the bright side, we hung out for a while, having a late night snack. Surprisingly, the ice cream from Polar is nice! Yum!

Bothersome
It has been one hell of a week. First of all, I got very irritated by this person. Utterly rude. I can’t believe I actually bore with her nonsense. I’ve been told by others that I shouldn’t be so nice with this person anymore.
Honestly, I don’t think I’ll be able to pass my driving test the first time round. Yeah, I’ve been pretty confident about it, until it came to parking. I can’t seem to be able to park properly. What makes things worse is that the roads in the circuit are terribly narrow, which means I have to be very, very careful. I guess I’m gonna persuade daddy to lt me practice in some quiet car park. I seriously prefer to drive than take the public transport. It is an irony because right now, I’m trying to lead a simple life. I know, huge joke. But yes, I’m trying to be self sufficient. Haha! Talking about the public transport, i was appalled to find out that my EZ-Link Card had expired on the 30th of June. What a bother! They didn’t even inform me about it. Sheesh! And I realised that it is quite expensive to purchase a new one. $15 in fact, of which $8 is the deposit. I am going to be very low on funds at this rate. Seriously, a couple of people still owe me money. One of them actually said that the funds will be transferred to my back account, but I don’t think it’s there yet. What made things worse is that the new owner of my old house threw away all my mail (I believe so as they weren’t returned to me) so I wasn’t informed about the bank’s two factor bullshit. That’s why i can’t access my transactions for the past month. What a bother!
