Life is a highway. I wanna ride it all night long.

Whoa! It has been sometime since I last came online. I feel like it’s my virgin ‘trip’ on board the wonderful world of the Internet.

It has been a busy week for me. It started of with recovery, appointments (tons of them), functions and lunches. I feel so much better after taking a break and trying to stay in bed. I feel like stopping the medication now, but I faced strong objections. So I guess I’ll have to force myself to eat them. =(

I had to take lil Felicia out for a movie on Saturday. She picked Cars, a movie that I wasn’t that keen. But, in the end, I think I enjoyed the movie more than she did! The movie has a really good selection of songs, from James Taylor to the Rascal Flatts to Sheryl Crow and to John Mayer. The song ‘Our Town’ by James Taylor just made my cry during the movie. Even though it’s just a cartoon, it touches on very human issues about life, paying it forward and of course the most wonderful thing of all – friendship.

I also received a call on Saturday. I just don’t know how to put it across. But never mind, it doesn’t matter anyway since no one actually visits here.

I was on my way home when guests from Indo called. The whole family was here on a short break. Of course, since they called, Dad couldn’t help it but to offer to have a meal with them. I mean, I can understand. It’s manners. So we had lunch together at Crystal Jade. I’m a spoilt brat. The food wasn’t up to standard. But that’s perhaps we usually pre-order the food a few days before, so they have ample of time to prepare it. But the lobster was pretty fresh yesterday. The sweetness from the sashimi was fabulous. =) that made up for my depressing week. Haha! But after a while, I got reminded that I still had tons of work to complete. Exams are in a week’s time and still far from finishing the syllabus!
