What Happened?

Why do people even bother going to submit a monination for themselves when they know that they can't even fit in the requirements? Don't you think that it's a complete waste of time and effort. Firstly, you'll be wasting your own effort, next, you'll be wasting the time of the people in charge of your application. Besides, if you don't fit the bill and you still insisted on going through the whole process, isn't it very embarrasing

I personally agree that should be more transparency when nominating for someone of the leadership post, be it the presidency from the nation, private companies/coporations and even schools! How do we know if someone behind the scenes have tampered with the votes or the deciding of whether the person fits the requirements? For all you know, it could be a political move or popularity move.

Let's move on. We eat as much as we want. We eat to our heart's content. But do we realize that while we eat, millions of other children are starving wordwide. Why don't people do something? The destruction is devastating, why can't superpowers do something about this instead of fighting a war that is claiming more innocent lives. Think about it, if SOMEONE had headed his predecessor's advice and focus on the dangers that lurks ahead, maybe we wouldn't be living in a world of fear and war all the time. Can we do something about mulnourised kids worldwide. How about we start today?
