I can’t believe I blew almost $300 bucks today. If it was because of the fact that I don’t have enough money with me today, I reckon I would have spent a $165 more.
Although I have gotten new stuff to replace it, I can’t help but feel a sense of loss, a very heartbreaking 2 weeks. Last week as I was playing tennis with the gang and all, I realized that my racket (Wilson 5.6 Rollers) was crooked. Somehow, I wasn’t really surprised cos there was a hair-line crack some years back, but it wasn’t too much of a problem then and I didn’t really bother about it. The bend was so bad that I had to ‘retire’ my racket of 7 years. It was a really good buddy. =) thankfully, I had another set of rackets to keep me going on the courts, the very very lousy Wilson n5. Gosh! I can’t believe how terrible the metal is! I cracked 2 rackets of this model. (Never get double-frame rackets) And so, as of this morning I was left racket-less. Boo! It was so heartbreaking as it meant that I had to spend more. I had to get a new pair of shoes, socks and new wristbands and the new addition, 2 more rackets. Bah!
Anyway, I busted my money on the new Wilson nFury. I quite like this. It’s light and the frame is pretty solid. Furthermore, I find that it’s easier to control as compared to the crap n5. I would have gotten another one to make it two, so I can use it for my intermediate and advanced tournaments after the A levels, but I blew the other portion of my money on a pair of new shoes. (Another barricades). I wasn’t really keen on another pair of barricades but this time I really had no choice. It was this, or no shoes at all, for Nike’s design are simply horrendous. I wonder what’s wrong with the merchandisers. How come we don’t get the shoes seen on the tour? So yup! It’ll be budget for me for the next month. Haha!
Argh! There’s something wrong with my computer. I can’t open the files to upload pictures here. Guess I’ll do it another day!
Oh! My shoes and my racket match as well. Hehe!
